EPFO recruitment rules notified (September–October 2026)

Recruitment rules for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, Assistant Director (Official Language) and Junior Social Security Assistant posts in EPFO have been notified. They do not change payroll.

The Central Government has notified recruitment rules for these posts in the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation:

Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner — Recruitment Rules, 2026, dated 29 September 2026;
Assistant Director (Official Language) — Recruitment Rules, 2026, dated 8 October 2026;
Junior Social Security Assistant — Recruitment Rules, 2026, dated 29 September 2026.

These rules set the method of recruitment, eligibility and pay level for EPFO staff. They do not change contributions, returns or employer obligations. Candidates should follow the UPSC or EPFO notice for each recruitment.
