Employment-linked incentive — PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana

For jobs created from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2027, first-time employees get up to ₹15,000, and employers get up to ₹3,000 a month for each additional employee.

The employment-linked incentive scheme runs through EPFO.

  • Part A (first-time employees): an employee registered with EPFO for the first time, with wages up to ₹1 lakh a month, gets one month's EPF wage, up to ₹15,000, in two instalments. The first comes after 6 months of service. The second comes after 12 months and a financial-literacy programme.
  • Part B (employers): for each additional employee with wages up to ₹1 lakh who stays at least six months, the employer gets up to ₹3,000 a month for two years. This extends to four years in manufacturing. Employers with fewer than 50 employees must add at least two, and those with 50 or more must add at least five.
  • Payments go to the employee's Aadhaar-linked bank account and the employer's PAN-linked account.

Check the EPFO circulars for the current conditions before you claim.
